Pendleton Fremont Heritage Collection Blanket
Product Description
This blanket was inspired by the ancient Fremont Indians; a prehistoric culture that inhabited Utah and parts of the Colorado Plateau and the Great Basin from approximately 700-1300AD. Like their contemporaries, the Anasazi, the Fremont Indians disappeared mysteriously. Bighorn sheep were a source of food and clothing, and their curved horns figured prominently in the pictographs and petroglyphs left behind on cave and canyon walls. The curved horn motif on this blanket represents Bighorn sheep and the arrow designs, the weapons of the hunter. 82% pure virgin wool/ 18% cotton. Made in the USA! Dry clean only. Unnapped.
