Earth 20th Century bohemians were admirers of Southwestern American designs. This colorful patter was adapted from a vintage serape and is right at home with modern boho style. The medallion motif has its roots in mid-to-late 1800s Vallero patterns of New Mexico. The original designs, found in Navajo and Spanish colonial weavings, featurd stars and concentric diamonds.
