The Glass Forge Gallery and Studio of Grants Pass, Oregon first lit its furnaces on Memorial Day of 1998. They manufacture and sell hand blown glass, specializing in Venetian style art glass. The Glass Forge became a reality through the vision of three men who first met in the spring of 1994 while working for various San Francisco Bay Area glass studios: Lee Wassink (Nourot Studios, 1993 - 1998), Maurice Kreuzer (Smyers Studio, 1995 - 1998), and Nathan Sheafor (AlBo Glass, 1996 - 1998). As the partners of the new studio, each partner brings unique skills to The Glass Forge and contributes to a sum exceeding 30 years of "hot glass" experience. Each item is an individually created work of art, so there will be slight variations in color, form and size.
